The Coterie

Thursday, July 28
After taking two weeks off, Adam is refreshed and raring to go for the second half of 2011. With loads of exciting things in the pipeline he just can't wait to share them with you.

Adam had a really good night two weeks ago at The Coterie at Alfred Place. The crowd was great and the speakers on the evening were so inspirational. First, they were treated to a talk from Jo Fairley, who Adam had known as a journalist for a long time, but had no idea that she was also the founder of Green & Blacks! It was so interesting to hear about her journey that started with an obsession for chocolate and ended in her creating a global brand. So exciting!

The next presentation was Susanna Flynn, director of Ketchum PR, interviewing the fashion agent Beverley Streeter. Beverley talked about the way she started Streeters with Liz McKiver in her front room and how she developed it into the fashion powerhouse that it is now. It was a revelation to hear what an agent actually does for the talent they represent.
